Lauren Creon went 2-for-2 delivering the game tying RBI double while senior
Jordan Kavanagh picked up her first win of the season as Detroit Mercy grinded out a 3-2 come-from-behind victory in the seventh inning at host North Alabama on the second day of UNA Tournament play on Saturday at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium. The Titans fell 13-0 to Louisiana Monroe earlier in the afternoon.
Kavanagh went the distance, allowing only two runs on five scattered hits with two strikeouts. Junior
Jenna Holt went 1-for-4 with a run, with freshman
Allison Fluker going 1-for-3 with a run. Freshman
Allison Fluker also recorded a hit to round out the five total for the Titans (3-12).

Jade Blanchard and Holt each accounted for one of UDM's four hits against ULM (16-10) in the first game.
North Alabama Recap:
• The Lions (17-5) got on the board first with a solo homer in the bottom of the first inning.
• Creon's RBI double scored Fluker to tie the game at 1-1 in the fourth inning.
• After a scoreless fifth inning, the Lions took the lead off an RBI double in the sixth.
• The Titans took advantage of some breaks in the top of the seventh scoring two runs without a hit to take the lead at 3-2
• After Creon was hit by a pitch, Holt and Davis reached on back-to-back errors, scoring pinch runner Peterson to tie the game at 2-2.
• After Fessler was hit by a pitch to load the bases, Borg was also hit to score Holt for the eventual game-winning run.
• Kavanagh closed out the game in the bottom of the seventh only allowing a single with two outs.
Lousianna Monroe Recap:
• The Warhawks got on the board in the first inning with a two-run shot.
• In the top of the second inning, Klaft reached on a single but was left stranded.
• ULM hung a crooked number with nine runs in the second inning to lead 11-0.
• Ketola and Holt hit singles to put runners on first and second in the third inning but were also left stranded.
• UDM got a pair of runners on base as Blanchard hit a single and Creon reached on an error in the fourth. However, the Titans couldn't push them across.
• ULM added another two-run homer increasing the lead to 13-0.
