DETROIT (4/12/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team saw a school record tied and also a first-place finish as the Titans competed in three different meets on Saturday.
Senior Zoe Madden won the triple jump at Central Michigan with a mark of 10.78 meters, while freshman Abbey Ressler was fourth in the pole vault at Davenport with a height of 3.35 meters, tying the outdoor school record.
Freshman Meghan Koss ran 12.34 for third in the 100-meters and was on the runner-up 4x100.
Junior Jada Clark tallied a leap of 1.57 meters to share second in the high jump and sophomore Gabriela Gashaj finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.85.
At Bucknell, senior Evie Wright clocked 36:31.87 in the 10,000m for 19th overall and the third best in school history, while sophomore Helana Napiorkowski was 37th in 38:06.43, 11th in the Titan record book. To conclude the event, freshman Ana Lopez broke the Titan rookie record in the mile taking fifth in 5:19.40.
UDM will be back in action next week as the Titans return to Oakland for the Elaine Leigh Track Invite.
