SPRINGBORO, Ohio (4/14/2025) -- Sophomore Sophomore 
David Swab tallied an eagle for the second straight round and led the Titans overall as the University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team concluded the last regular season tournament in the Wright State Invitational. 
The Titans placed 11th with an 875 (292-293-290) at the par 71, 7,075-yard Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio. 
Swab recorded a career-best 213 (74-69-70) for a share of 21st place. He started the final round with six straight pars and then had a nine-hole run, knocking in six pars, two birdies, and another eagle on the par 5 ninth hole to end the day with a 1-under 70. 
In the entire event, he led the team with 34 pars and was second with nine birdies, and was second in the field with a 4.11, -8 average on the par 5's.
Sophomore 
Mason Sokolowski tied for 53rd with a 220 (72-74-74). His final round saw him register eight pars and five birdies.

Gowtham Nalluri and senior 
Marko Banic tied for 60th with a 221. Banic (74-76-71) carded an even-par 71 on the day, collecting 12 pars and three birdies, while Nalluri (72-74-75) had nine pars and three birdies on the final 18 and was second on the squad with 10 birdies. 
The Titans will now get ready for the Horizon League Championships this weekend, Apr. 19-21, at the Mission Inn Resort's El Campeon Course in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
