Six Titans Honored In MAC Postseason Awards

CLEVELAND (4/30/2025) -- Four University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse student-athletes earned All-League honors, and two newcomers made the All-Freshman Team as the Mid-American Conference released its postseason awards on Wednesday.

Senior Meredith Leavell was selected Second Team All-MAC at goalie. Senior Maddy Camm and junior Alyssa Jarvis were named Second Team All-MAC at midfield, and junior Libby Cuckler was named Second Team at attack.

In addition, rookies Jaeda Jensen and Sophia Schwab were tabbed to the All-Freshman Team.

Meredith Leavell * G * Sarasota, Fla. * IMG Academy (Fla.)
  • Named Second Team All-MAC for the first time in her career
  • Earned the MAC Goalie of the Week five times
  • Ranks third in the MAC and 17th in the nation with 159 saves, second in the league and third in the country with 11.3 saves per game, second in the conference and 14th in DI with 3.07 ground balls per game, and third in the league with a .456 save percentage
  • Posted double-digit saves in 10 of her 14 games and allowed under 10 goals on five occasions
  • Tallied 14 saves and tied her season-best with just seven goals allowed in the win over Central Michigan
  • Finished with 17 saves and broke the school record with 13 ground balls in the win at Kent State, where she had 11 saves in the second half and let in just four goals in the final 30 minutes
  • Totaled 13 saves against Robert Morris and 10 on the road at Eastern Michigan
  • Recorded nine saves and allowed just eight goals in the win over Akron
  • Started the year with a career-high 22 stops in the opener against San Diego State, the second most in school history

  • Named Second Team All-MAC for the second straight season
  • A three-time MAC Player of the Week with two on defense and once on offense
  • Leads the team in caused turnovers (24) and assists (18), second in draw controls (49), ground balls (38) and points (41), and fourth in goals (23) Her 18 assists and 41 points are career highs, while she is two shy of a career mark for goals
  • Currently second in the MAC and 40th in the nation with 1.71 caused turnovers, fifth in the MAC and 29th in DI at 2.71 GB's, fourth with 1.29 assists, and 11th in the league with 3.50 draws
  • Had an exceptional game in the win over Central Michigan, leading the way with a career-high six points on a career-tying four goals and two assists, scoring the final two goals and assisting on the first marker in the game-ending 4-0 run, while adding two caused turnovers, five draw controls, and three ground balls
  • Posted three goals, four draws, a takeaway, and two ground balls against Robert Morris
  • Registered two goals, two caused turnovers, a career-tying five ground balls, and five draw controls in the win over Akron
  • Had one of the best defensive games in school history with a career-high five caused turnovers, five ground balls, a career-best four assists and five draw controls at Furman, with the five caused turnovers tied for the second most in school history

Alyssa Jarvis * M * Woodinville, Wa. * Woodinville
  • Named Second Team All-MAC for the second straight season
  • Was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week once during the year
  • Leads the team with a career-best 29 goals, is fourth with 30 points, and has seen 45 of her 55 shots on net (81.8%)
  • Ranks third in the conference and 59th in the nation in shooting percentage (.527)
  • Her 59 draws top the squad and her 4.21 draw controls per game are seventh in the league
  • Scored a goal in 12 of the 14 games, with eight multi-goal games and four hat tricks
  • Helped the Titans in the postseason-clinching win over Central Michigan by pulling down six draw controls
  • Tied her career high with five goals and tied for the team lead with five draw controls at Youngstown State
  • Grabbed a season-high nine draws against Robert Morris, while scoring a goal
  • Posted a career-high five goals with seven draws versus Akron

Libby Cuckler * A * Delaware, Ohio * Olentangy Berlin
  • Named Second Team All-MAC for the first time in her career
  • Leads the team with 43 points and is second with 17 assists and 26 goals, career highs in every category
  • Ranks seventh in the MAC with 3.07 points per game, fifth with 1.21 assists, and 12th with 26 total goals
  • Registered five points on a career-high four assists and a goal at Youngstown State
  • Had two goals and two assists versus Robert Morris
  • Found the back of the net three times for her fifth career hat trick at Eastern Michigan
  • Recorded four points on a goal and three assists against Akron
  • Tallied a career-tying four goals and five points at Kent State and had her best collegiate game, posting a career-high six points on a career-best four goals with two assists at Furman

Jaeda Jensen * A * Hugo, Minn. * White Bear Lake
  • Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team
  • Is fifth on the team with 19 points and 15 goals
  • Scored a goal for the fourth straight game against Central Michigan
  • Finished with a goal and a helper at Kent State
  • Netted a goal at Eastern Michigan, against Robert Morris and at Youngstown State
  • Posted her first career hat trick, finishing with three goals and an assist at Presbyterian, and had two goals and an assist against Lindenwood

Sophia Schwab * A * Dublin, Ohio * Dublin Scioto
  • Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team
  • Ranks sixth on the team with 17 points and nine goals and fourth with eight assists
  • Scored a marker in her first two MAC games at Kent State and Akron
  • Tallied a goal and two assists against Lindenwood and Marquette
  • Had her first two collegiate goals and an assist in the win over Canisius and had two more goals at Furman
