Charlebois Tabbed To Valeo #HLGOLF All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS (5/12/2025) -- Junior Kyla Charlebois was honored for her work in the classroom as she was named to the Honorable Mention All-Academic Team.

A total of five student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Teams, while three more - including Charlebois - were tabbed as honorable mentions in balloting by the League's faculty athletics representatives.

A Bio-Chemistry major with a 3.96 GPA, Charlebois started six events before an injury kept her out of the last two tournaments of the season. She tallied an 84.2 average on the year and had her best finish by placing 24th at the Nevel Meade Collegiate with a 166. She is a three-year member of the Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a two-time member of the Horizon League Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls, and a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar.

The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale), have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits, and participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests. An Honorable Mention is awarded to student-athletes who received at least 25 percent of votes, but did not make the All-Academic team.
