INDIANAPOLIS (10/5/2026) -- Two Titans posted career rounds, and two are in the top 30 as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team opened up the Butler Fall Invitational on Monday.

Detroit Mercy registered a 607 (304-303) and stands in eighth place - just nine shots outside the top five - at the par-70, 6,040-yard Highland Country Club.

Junior Morgan Jones is tied for 23rd with a 149 (73-76) after starting the event with a career-best 3-over 73, recording a birdie and 13 pars. She added another birdie and 10 pars in the second round.

Senior Gabriella Tapp is just behind her with a 151 (76-75), tied for 29th. She had 12 pars in round one and then knocked in three birdies and eight pars in the afternoon.

Sophomore Ava Wisinski shot a 154 (76-78) and shares 42nd, while sophomore Sadie Kondel posted a 155 (80-75) for 50th. 

Junior Chloe Fong tallied a 157 (83-74) but carded a career-low 4-over 74 in the second round, posting two birdies and 10 pars. 

The final round of the event will tee off at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
