DETROIT (2/17/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's track and field teams will have one final test before the postseason as the Titans compete in a pair of events on Friday.
Detroit Mercy will compete in both the SVSU Tune Up and Michigan's Silverston Invitational.
Detroit Mercy still has a number of athletes ranked in the top 10 in the Horizon League. Freshman
Joey DeCasas tops the HL and is 43rd in the nation in the long jump at 7.58 meters, while
Nadia Hill leads the conference and is 78th in the country in the high jump at 1.75m.
The Titans had a light squad run at Grand Valley State last week, with freshman
Deon Robertson claiming the high jump with a season-best 1.99m, fifth all-time in school history, and freshman
Colin Murray setting a rookie record in the 3,000 meters at 8:21.57.
The Horizon League Championships are set for next weekend, Feb. 28 - Mar. 1, at Youngstown State.Â
