UDM Nets Six Medals In Final Regular Season Competition

DETROIT (2/20/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team had several standout performances as they had one last weekend of meets before the postseason begins.

Freshman Abigail Mullings was runner-up in the triple jump at Michigan's Silverston's Invitational with a mark of 11.08 meters, ahead of sophomore Julia Young's 10.68 for third.

Sophomore Lyla Mullins was third in the shot put with a heave of 13.93m, while senior Jada Clark was third in the high jump clearing 1.50m.

At the SVSU Tune-Up, junior Helana Napiorkowski took third in a time of 10:32.07. Sophomore Haley Lipscomb was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.08, junior Gabriela Gashaj placed fifth in the 400m in 1:00.24, and sophomore Abbey Ressler claimed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 3.08m.

Detroit Mercy will now get ready for the Horizon League Championships next week at Youngstown State.
