YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (2/28/2026) -- A pair of multi-athletes posted career bests as the Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships got underway on Saturday at Youngstown State.
Sophomore
Haley Lipscomb was fifth in the pentathlon with a career-high 2,945 points, while senior
Jada Clark claimed eighth with a career-best 2,888 points. The duo earned five team points for the Titans.
Lipscomb tallied a career mark with a throw of 11.13 meters in the shot put for second, and was also fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.39. Clark was third in the high jump at 1.57m and fourth in the 800m, clocking a career-low 2:34.98.
Sophomore
Lyla Mullins was 10th in the weight with a toss of 14.95m, and the distance medley relay team of senior
Claire Hunt, junior
Kayla Wize, and sophomores
Sofia Figueroa and
Ana Lopez was seventh in 12:23.03, registering two more team points.
The final day of the championships will get underway at 9:00 a.m., tomorrow.
