WINDSOR, Ontario (2/6/2026) -- Senior
Jada Clark got off to a strong start in her pentathlon debut as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team opened up the Windsor Team Challenge on Friday.
Clark sits in fourth place with 2,986 points, just 459 shy of first, through five events. She took second in the 800 meters in 2:34.46 and third in the high jump at 1.56 meters in her standout performances.
Sophomore
Haley Lipscomb is just behind her in seventh place with 2,847 points, registering a second-place effort in the shot put at 11.06m and clocking 9.23 for fourth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Freshman
Imani Sharp and sophomore
Meghan Koss made the finals of the 60m, with Sharp finishing 10th in 7.68 and Koss 18th in 7.79.
Junior
Helana Napiorkowski led a host of Titans in the 3,000m, earning 16th in 10:44.33, while sophomore
Lyla Mullins threw the weight 14.37m for 10th.
The second day of the event will begin tomorrow morning.
