YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (3/1/2026) -- Sophomore Lyla Mullins and freshman Nadia Hill will be returning to the Motor City with some hardware as the Horizon League Indoor championships concluded on Sunday.

As a team, the Titans were seventh with 29 points in the league meet, hosted by Youngstown State.

Mullins won the shot put with a mark of 14.80 meters, extending her school record. She is the fifth Titan to win the indoor shot put and the first since Ashley Bauman in 2004.

Hill just missed the HL crown in the high jump and was runner-up with a leap of 1.70m, while freshman Abigail Mullings claimed fourth in the triple jump at 11.59m, the fourth best mark in school history. 

Detroit Mercy will now have a couple of weeks before the outdoor campaign begins.
