DETROIT (3/13/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team has been eager to get back on the course since the fall season ended, and the Titans will have the opportunity as the red, white and blue compete in Georgia's Southern Intercollegiate on Monday.
The event will be one day and feature two rounds at the par-72, 6,917-yard Athens Country Club in Athens, Georgia.

The field will also include the host and #34 Bulldogs, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Binghamton, Charleston Southern, Chicago State, Georgia State, Maryland Eastern Shore, Mercer, Mount St. Mary's, North Carolina A&T, Tennessee State, Radford, West Georgia, and Western Carolina.Â
UDM played five fall events and had a 300.6 average in four tournaments, with the other being a match-play.Â
Junior
David Swab topped the team with a 74.8 average and was the top finisher in two of the four tournaments. Junior
Mason Sokolowski led the Titans in one event and is second on the team at 75.7, while freshman
Peyton Lawley also led the squad once and is third with a 76.08 average.Â
