AKRON, Ohio (3/14/2026) -- An early run by the defending champions had the Titans chasing all game long as the University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team fell, 24-2, at Akron on Saturday afternoon.

Alyssa Jarvis had a goal, a game-high seven draw controls, and a ground ball, while senior
Libby Cuckler posted a goal and a GB.

Angelina Hook tallied two caused turnovers, and freshman
Alison Smiley had four draws and two ground balls.
The Titans (0-6, 0-1 MAC) saw Akron (6-2, 1-0 MAC) start the game on an offensive charge before Jarvis and Cuckler went back-to-back early in the fourth.
Detroit Mercy will be back in action on Thursday when the red, white and blue host Eastern Michigan on Titan Field at 4:00 p.m.
