Women's Golf Set To Open Spring Down South

Freshman Sadie Kondel and the Titans will be down south for spring break.
DETROIT (3/9/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team will finally hit the course for the spring season as the Titans head down to Florida for NKU's Spring Fling.

The three-day, three-round event will start on Friday with the first 18 holes and conclude on Sunday at the par 72, 6,130-yard Sandridge Country Club.

All three days will tee off at 9:00 a.m.

The Titans will face host NKU, Bucknell, Duquesne, Eastern Illinois, Holy Cross, Mercyhurst, Monmouth, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Indiana, and St. John's.

UDM took action in four events in the fall, placing fifth at Youngstown State's Roseann Schwartz Invitational and at Toledo's Rocket Classic.

Graduate senior Ariel Chang led the team with a 75.33 average. Senior Taylor Kondel was second on the team with a 79.29 mark and had the lone top-10 finish in the fall campaign, while junior Gabriella Tapp was third sporting an 80.14 mark.
