Women Break Another School Record At Drake Relays

Senior Jada Clark was part of the record-breaking shutter relay team.
DES MOINES, Iowa (4/25/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team set a relay record for the second straight day as the Titans closed out their competition at the 116th Annual Drake Relays on Saturday.

Yesterday, it was the distance runners breaking the Titan record in the 4x1,600, and today, the hurdle foursome of senior Jada Clark, junior Gabriela Gashaj, sophomore Haley Lipscomb, and freshman Nadia Hill posted a time of 1:01.66 in the shuttle hurdle relay.

Hill was also in the high jump and tied for 17th with a jump of 1.61 meters.

The Titans will now get ready for the Horizon League Championships, held at Oakland from May 8-10
