2012 Outdoor: Shared team MVP honors with Taylor Hennrick... Qualified for the NCAA Hammer Throw Semifinals on last throw of regular season and set UDM record of 191’ at the GVSU Last Chance (May 12), good for 2nd place behind Coach Richotte... Finished 34th at the NCAA Semifinal with a 185’ throw (May 24-26)... Horizon League Outdoor Championships (May 4-6) hammer runner-up at 183’ and finished 9th in Discus (142’9) and 11th in Shot Put (42’5.25”)... Took Oakland Dual Meet Record (Apr. 7") in hammer throwing 187’8” and won discus at 135’... Opened season in Toledo with a hammer PR of 179’7” (March 31).
2012 Indoor: Captured team MVP honors... Won weight throw at Horizon League Indoor Championships (Feb. 25-26) at Youngstown State with UDM record throw of 57’11.5” and finished 7th in shot put (45’3.75”)... Threw a PR in the first meet of 2012, 51’11.25” at Chippewa Invite (Jan. 13)... Really got rolling with dual wins and PRs at IPFW (Jan. 28), taking hammer at 55’8.25” and shot put at 47’0.75”... Improved weight to 56’4” at Youngstown State (Feb. 3-4)... Won weight at Windsor (Feb.11) throwing 55’2.25”.
2011 Outdoor: Debut in hammer at Toledo breaking Matt Groh’s UDM rookie record with throw of 163’ 11” for 6th place and also took 6th in shot put-39’4” and 8th in discus-135’6”… Won hammer-154’, discus-141’10” and shot put-42’3.25” in dual versus Oakland... Discus PR of 143’4” at Lyle Bennett Open…4th place Horizon League hammer with PR of 167’ 10” and finished 9th in discus-134’10” and 10th in shot put-40’2”... Qualified for USATF Junior Nationals throwing the 6kg junior hammer 184’7” at Windsor and placed 12th at USATF Juniors in Eugene, Oregon with a 178’9” throw.
2011 Indoor: Scored 6th in Horizon League weight and shot put with PR of throws of 51’ 4.25” (#7 Titan) and 44’ 9”... Prior to those throws PRs were 49’9.25” & 39’10.5” both at SVSU’s The Cardinal.
High School: Earned four varsity letters in track and field and in football... Two-year team captain of the track team... Placed third in the discus and was a shot put state qualifier at the Division 3 championships in 2010... Named team MVP.
