2015 Indoor: Placed 5th with 5,000m PR of 14:55.98 and added a 5th place 3,000m PR of 8:26.63 at HL Indoor Championships... Posted three wins on the season, including the 3,000m at the EMU Quad Meet in 8:40.64, the 3,000m at the IPFW Duals in 8:36.39 and in the 5,000m at the GVSU Tune Up in 15:14.60.
2014 Outdoor: Set four UDM rookie records and shared team Rookie of Year honors for outdoor season with Ilia Panev... 10,000m debut at Cincinnati taking the UDM rookie record to 31:32.91 for 9
th place…lowered his 5000m PR and took UDM outdoor rookie 5000m record with his 15:02.55 at Bucknell…4
th place in Horizon League 10,000m running 31:59.26 and then was 9
th in 5000m running 15:27.87.
2014 Indoor: Bounced back from Cross Country injury to open with 15:29.62 5000m at Notre Dame just .4 off UDM rookie record…8:54.24 3000m PR at Eastern Michigan… won 3000m at IPFW running 8:41.60, a UDM rookie record and was then the #7 Titan mark…missed a couple weeks due to illness and prepped for Horizon League with a 8:51.50 3000m at Grand Valley…got last Horizon League 5000m scoring spot and UDM rookie record kicking to 6
th in 15:12.63 and then finished 12
th in 3000m (8:48.19).
High School: A four year letter winner in cross country and track and field for St. Joseph High School... In cross country, he was a four-time Division 2 state finals qualifier taking 41st in 2010 and 2011, while helping his team to four top-10 finishes, including runner-up as a junior... He is fifth in school history with a time of 15:44 in the 5k… In track and field, he qualified for the state championships in the 1600-meters and 3200m as a senior and the 3200m as a junior… Tabbed All-Conference in cross country and track and field on three occasions… Named Academic All-State four times… A member of the National Honor Society.
