2013-14: Finished with 32 victories on the season, second on the women's sabre team ... Competed at the NCAA Midwest Regionals, finishing 19th overall ... Placed 13th out of 62 fencers at the MFC Championships (3/2), earning 7-1 record overall ... Had seven wins at the Northwestern Mega-Meet (2/3) ... Posted seven bout wins at the UDM Invitational (1/25) ... Went 12-2 at the Cleveland State Duals (1/18) ... Earned a bronze medal at the season-opening Danosi Open (12/8) ... Had a 32-33 record on the season ... Earned five 5-0 bout wins and seven one-touch victories for the year ... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2012-13: Led women's team and Titans overall with 27 wins on the season... Was part of women's sabre team that had best winning percentage among UDM men's and women's fencing weapons... Was one of seven Titan fencers to compete at the NCAA Midwest Fencing Regionals at Notre Dame (3/9-10)... Posted the best individual finish for the Titans at the regionals placing 12th... Also led the Titans at the MFC Championships at Notre Dame (3/2-3) placing 18th... Helped women's sabre finish sixth at MFC Championships... Was 7-9 tying for team-best with Katie Lang at Notre Dame Duals (2/23)... Was second on the team, one win behind leader, at Northwestern (2/3) with six wins... Went 11-4 at UDM Invitational (1/12)... Was sixth at the Istvan Danosi (12/2) at Wayne State... Was named women's team MVP... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2011-12: Reached semifinal bout and earned a bronze medal at Wayne State's Istvan Danosi (Dec. 4) for first ever medal... Finished with 42 wins in women's sabre which was tied (Paige Zmudczynski) for the second best mark on the women's team behind Ariel Skellett's 48... Had six 5-0 wins and four one-touch victories... Helped women's sabre team to 9-0 win over Xavier in first match of UDM Invitational (Jan. 15)... Berndt finished with a 9-6 record to lead the women's team on the day at UDM... Had second best total at Army and Vassar (Jan. 21-22) with nine wins... Finished second on the team in wins at Notre Dame Duals (Jan. 28-29) with even 11-11 record... Placed 26th at the MFC Championships (March 3-4) at Notre Dame... Was one of ten Titan fencers, and one of six females, to compete in the NCAA Midwest Regionals at Cleveland State (March 11) and placed 14th. 

2010-11: Topped all Detroit women fencers with 25 wins on the season... Was the lone female and one of eight Titans to represent Detroit at the NCAA Regional Qualifier (Mar. 12-13)... Tied for the team-lead in wins with eight at the Cleveland State Duals (Jan. 15) which included a 3-0 victory Case Western, a 2-1 win against Wayne State, and a 2-0 defeat of Cleveland State... Captured team-best seven wins at Duals at Notre Dame (Jan. 29-30)... Tallied a 2-1 victory over California Tech at the Northwestern Megameet (Feb. 5-6) and had a 2-1 win over Michigan State at the UDM Invitational (Feb. 13) to lead the Titans...Went 10-7 at the MFC Championships to lead the Titan women... She was named the women's team MVP as recognized by the coaches... Named to the 2010 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Earned varsity letters in high school in soccer (1), basketball (1), and cross country (1) at Providence Christian... Was part of the National Honors Society... Was part of the drama club, the student council, yearbook, and orchestra club.

Personal: Daughter of Mark Berndt & Julie Gage... Born in Dearborn... Has two siblings, Kaylah and Jesse... Younger sister Kaylah is also part of the women's fencing team at Detroit... Both parents fenced in college... Her mom at UDM and her dad at U-M Dearborn... Three cousins, an aunt, and two uncles all previously attended UDM... Won the Girl Scout Silver and Girl Scout Gold Awards... Majoring in electrical engineering.
