2013-14: Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Finished the season with 12 victories in the epee, which included seven one-touch bout wins ... Placed 47th at the MFC Championships (3/2) ... Had three victories at the Notre Dame Duals (2/9) ... Earned four victories at the UDM Invitational (1/25) ... Placed 11th at the season-opening Danosi Open (12/8).

2012-13: Switched to the sabre weapon after fencing her first two years in foil... Finished third on the women's team with 15 overall wins... Was one of seven Titan fencers to compete at the NCAA Midwest Fencing Regionals at Notre Dame (3/9-10)... Recorded a 14th place finish in women's sabre at the Regionals... Was 24th at MFC Championships at Notre Dame (3/2-3)... Helped women's sabre finish sixth at MFC Championships... Recorded six wins at Notre Dame Duals (2/23)... Totaled a pair of wins at Northwestern (2/3)... Had a 9-6 record at the UDM Invitational (1/12)... 2011-12: Finished second on women's foil with 32 wins on the season... Two of those victories were 5-0 and seven were one-touch wins... Placed 10th at Istvan Danosi at Wayne State (Dec. 4)... Earned the second-best total on the women's team at the UDM Invitationals (Jan. 15) with an 11-4 record... Totaled six wins at the Notre Dame Duals (Jan. 28-29)... Finished tied for third on the team in wins with four at the Northwestern Megameet (Feb. 3-4)... Placed 29th in women's foil at MFC Championships at Notre Dame (March 3-4)... Competed in first ever NCAA Tournament action at NCAA Midwest Regionals at Cleveland State (March 10-11) placing 20th in women's foil. 

2010-11: Posted four wins at the Cleveland State Duals (Jan. 15) with single victories over Case Western, Michigan, Wayne State, and Cleveland State... Added four wins at the MFC Championships to finish with 11 on the season... Named to the 2010 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Earned varsity letters for cross country, track, and powerlifting in high school... Finished second at the state powerlifting meet in 2010... Was part of the Earth Club, Mountain Biking Club, and also the President of the Business Professionals of America Club.

Personal: Daughter of Kenneth and Karen Canavan... Born in Pontiac... Has two siblings, Chelsea and Brendan... Enrolled in master's physician assistant program.
