2017: Suited up in all 16 games… Ended the year with three goals, four points and nine ground balls… Had a career-high two goals with three ground balls at Quinnipiac… Fired in a goal at Siena… Ended his career playing in 32 games and scoring five goals with three assists and picking up 11 ground balls… A member of the Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…  Earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team…Also earned one of the highest honors as a Titan in the Academic Excellence Award recording at least a 3.0 GPA for every semester he has participated in college athletics… 

2016: Appeared in nine games with one start… Registered two points on a goal and an assist… Fired seven shots with four on goal and also had a ground ball… Handed out an assist against Siena… Found the back of the net against Quinnipiac in his only start of the year… Had a ground ball at Monmouth… Earned a spot on the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll as well as the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2015: Appeared in seven games as a redshirt freshmen… Had two points on a goal and an assist along with a ground ball… Made his collegiate debut at Michigan… Picked up a ground ball at Bellarmine… Collected his first two collegiate points on a marker and a helper versus Manhattan… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll. 

2014: Did not play in any games… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.  

Prior To Detroit: Earned three letters in hockey and lacrosse in high school… Was one of 10 finalists for the Warrior Sports Michigan High School Lacrosse Player of the Year as a senior… Named First Team All-State in lacrosse and All-Conference in hockey… A captain for Birmingham United, as a senior he totaled 35 goals and 25 assists… As a junior, he earned his second straight Honorable Mention All-State honor and was also Honorable Mention All-County and Honorable Mention All-Midwest, while being tabbed First Team All-Conference … Garnered Academic All-State in 2012… A member of the National Honor Society in 2011 and 2012.

Personal: Son of Lisa and Mike Susalla… Has a younger brother… A Civil Engineering major.
