Prior To Detroit: Earned four letters in lacrosse and three in football… A team captain as a senior in both sports… Tabbed All-Conference three times and was All-County as a senior… Played club with Viper Lacrosse for six seasons… Was part of Athletes in Action in high school… Played high school and club with current Titan teammate Mike Sforza...

Personal: Son of Marie and Joseph Carrello… Has two older brothers… His eldest brother, Matt, played lacrosse for two years at C.W. Post and Albany, winning a national championship at C.W. Post, while his other older brother, Anthony, played football at Alfred University.… Chose Detroit Mercy because of the atmosphere of the coaches and players… A History major…
