Matt Spencer will begin his second season with the Titans and will compete for playing time at either midfield or defense.

2007: Saw action in every game and was in the starting line-up on 13 occassions... Scored lone goal of the season in Detroit’s 4-0 shut-out victory at Cleveland State (Oct. 26)... Dished out two assists on the year... Garnered a point in the Titans’ 4-0 win against Canisius (Sept. 14) and tallied a helper in a 1-0 win at Xavier (Sept. 28).

High School: 2007 graduate of Bishop Foley Catholic High School… Earned three varsity letters for soccer… Earned All-Michigan First Team honors both junior and senior seasons… Ventures won the D-3 Catholic League Division in 2007… Named to the All-Michigan Third Team sophomore year.

Personal: Son of Maryann and Walter Spencer… Born on Jan. 12, 1989… Has an older brother, Mark, and an older sister, Kristin… Enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends… Majoring in history.
