College Career:
Spent two seasons as a starter at Hawaii Pacific… Led the Sea Warriors to fourth place at the 2009 PacWest Conference Championships, finishing the tournament in ninth place individually… Was selected second-team all-conference as a sophomore… Claimed 15th place at the 2008 PacWest Championship – again Hawaii Pacific’s top individual finisher – as a freshman…
 
Personal: 
A graduate of Seabury Hall Academy in Maui, HI... Finished 11th at the Hawaii high school championship as a prep junior… Also played volleyball and basketball, in addition to golf, in high school... Received the Spartan Award, 2005 Player of the Year, and MIL champions for basketball in his senior year… Qualified for the 2009 Michigan Amateur Championship in summer golf play… Finished 11th in Player of the Year points on the 2006 Adams Junior Golf Tour, with top 10 finishes in five of the six events he played… Was the 2005 Player of the Year on the Top 50 Junior Tour… Favorite athlete is Tiger Woods... Was a recipient of the 2007 DSIF Yasuko Asada Memorial College Scholarship Award, presented to Hawaiian high school seniors for academic achievement, active participation on their high school golf teams and full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. college or university… His uncle, Jerry Coyne, is a former U-D basketball player… Majoring in Finance…
