2010: Played in six games for Detroit coming away with one caused turnover on the year…That play on defense came in the second game of the season at Ohio State…A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2009: Played in all 11 games for UDM as a defensive midfielder…Collected seven groundballs on the year…Had a season-high two GB’s twice, at Quinnipiac and at Denver…Tied for fourth on the team with six penalties for a total of four minutes.

Prior to Detroit: Lettered for two years in lacrosse at Fishburne Military School in Virginia, earning captain recognition both seasons…He led the Caissons in goals (35) and assists (15) his senior season, where he was named to the Virginia Independent All-Conference team…An excellent student, Clugston made honor roll as a junior and senior and was awarded the Commandant Achievement Award, the Good Conduct Medal, the Scholastic Medal of Honor for English, the Service Award and the Presidential Physical Fitness Medal in his senior year.

Personal: Son of Stephanie and Bill Clugston…Has one brother who played lacrosse at Sacred Heart University…Enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, camping and music…Lists his biggest thrill in sports as being able to salute his coach when he was selected to the all-conference team while attending Fishburne Military School…A Criminal Justice major.
