2015-16: Named Second Team All-Horizon League… Started all 10 tournaments and led the team, while finishing ninth in the Horizon League with a 74.52 average, 14th in school history… Carded scores in the 70’s or lower in 23 of his 25 rounds with a pair of rounds in the 60’s… Shot par or better a team-high nine times in a round… Led the team in six of the Titans' 10 tournaments and was in the top 20 six times with three top-five efforts and his first collegiate victory… Won the Dayton Flyer Fall Invitational in a playoff sinking a par on the first playoff hole… Ended the event with a 146 (78-68), including a 3-under 68 in the final round to force the playoff… Tied for 11th at the Jackrabbit Invitational with a 218 (72-76-70) as he ended that tournament with a 2-under 70… Fired a 146 (75-71) to share 11th at the Big Blue Intercollegiate… Tallied a season-low 145 (76-69) and tied for third at Notre Dame’s Battle at the Warren, finishing that event with a 2-under 69 on the final 18… Ended his career earning All-Tournament honors at the Horizon League Championship posting a 217 (70-76-71) for fourth… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)…Earned a spot on the Horizon League Fall & Spring Academic Honor Roll and earned the Academic Excellence Award given to those that achieved academic excellence during their time at Detroit as they have recorded at least a 3.0 GPA for every semester that they have participated in college athletics.… Voted to the Horizon League Spring All-Academic Team... Earned Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar honors for the second-straight season... He was just the fourth Titan in school history to be named All-Horizon League at least three times joining four-time honorees David Byrne '10 and Mark Sommerfeld along with three-time member Johnny Strawser '03… Finished his career with a 74.93 career average – fourth in school history – in 96 rounds out on the links.
2014-15: A team captain… Earned All-Horizon League for the second-straight season… Led the team in three events and was second in two more and third three times… Second on the team and 11th in the Horizon League with a 75.19 average… Had five top-20 finishes and one top-10 effort on the season… Shot par or better four times with scores in the 70’s or 60’s in 18 of his 21 rounds… Tied 21st at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate with a 230 (80-72-78), which included an even-par 72 in round two… Shared 42nd at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate totaling a 151 (77-74)… Posted a 3-under 69 in the final round of the Cleveland State Invitational en route to tying for 17th with a 147 (78-69)… Ended the fall with his best finish tying for 10th at the Dayton Flyer Invitational with a 148 (75-73)… Carded a season-low 216 (69-69-78) at the Bobby Nichols Invitational, where he tallied back-to-back 3-under 69’s in the first two rounds… Took 17th with a 223 (75-74-74) at the Colleton River Collegiate… Earned 12th carding a 222 (75-74-73) at the Wright State Collegiate… Tied for 28th recording a 242 (86-75-81) at the Horizon League Championship… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the Horizon League Fall & Spring Academic Honor Roll… Earned Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar honors...
2013-14:
Earned All-Horizon League for the first time in his career… Finished second on the team and third in the Horizon League with a 74.1 average, which is 11th in school history… 24 of his 25 rounds were in the 70’s with three of those in the 60’s and he had six rounds on the year that were par or better… Had five top-20 finishes and three top-10 marks on the year, leading UDM on three occasions… He just missed HL All-Tournament by sharing ninth at the Horizon League Championship with a 227 (76-77-74)… Tied for 24th at the Red Flash Invitational with a 156 (80-76)… Set his 36-hole personal best with a 142 firing a pair of 1-under 71’s for third at the Bradley Invitational… Shared 13th at the Colleton River Collegiate with a 223 (77-76-78)… Started the season trying for fifth at Missouri’s Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate as he totaled a career-best 211 (74-69-68), which included a 3-under 69 in round two and a career-low at the time 4-under 68 to close out the tournament… Tied for 15th at the Cleveland State Invitational by posting a 216 (67-71-78), lowering his career round to a 5-under 67, which is also tied for the 10th lowest in UDM history… Was 43rd at the Wolverine Intercollegiate finishing with a 223 (78-72-73) and concluded the fall by sharing 36th with a 225 (76-76-73)… Earned a spot on the Detroit Athletic Director's Honor Roll and also a member of the Detroit Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
2012-13:
A great freshman season that saw him selected the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, the ninth Titan to earn the HL Newcomer of the Year under head coach Mark Engel… In the starting line-up in all nine events and is third on the squad with a 75.8 average… Posted 19 of his 25 rounds in the 70's, with a season low of 69, and carded three rounds under par as a rookie… The top Titan in the clubhouse in two events and also finished with three top-10 efforts… Tallied a season-low 215 (71-75-69) for a share of third at the Detroit Titans Invitational… In that event, he opened with a 1-under 71 and then had a 3-under 69 on the final 18… Made his debut at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate, ending with a 228 (76- 73-79) for share of 32nd… Recorded his highest finish in the fall by taking sixth at the Dayton Fall Invitational with a 144 (70-74), and also claimed eighth at the Cleveland State Invite after firing a 220 (71-75-74)… Tied for 32nd at the NYX Hoosier Invitational with a 222 (77-73-72)… Ended the season with an even-par 72 en route to a 231 (80-79-72) for a share of 23rd at the Horizon League Championship… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Personal:
Earned four letters in golf and was tabbed All-State as a sophomore, junior and senior... Took runner-up honors at the state championships in 2012 and was 11th in 2010… His performance at the 2012 state championship was historic as his 4-under 140 (72-68) card was the lowest by any Northeast Wisconsin golfer in the state championship history, and just four shots off the all-time record, and that was after he started the event with a triple bogey on his very first hole… His 140 would have taken medalist honors 14 times in the 17 36-hole tournaments held since the state championship moved to University Ridge Golf Course in Madison in 1994…Also tabbed All-Conference and All-Area in all four years, including first team accolades in his final three seasons…Was the Sectional Medalist as a junior…Led his team to a conference, regional and sectional championship as a senior… His 37.7 average per nine holes was the lowest in Kaukauna school history, and he also set school records for lowest nine-hole score (33) and lowest 18-hole score (68)… His summer play saw him reach the semifinals of the 39th Annual Mike Bencriscutto Junior Masters Match Play Championship and share 18th place at the 111th Wisconsin Amateur Championship (71-76-73-77=297) in 2012…Finished fifth in 2012 and 11th in 2010 at the Wisconsin State Golf Association's (WSGA) Junior Boy's Championship…He was ranked 13th in the Wisconsin PGA Jr. Tour Player of the Year Standings in 2011 and had five top-5 finishes in tournament play that summer… Also posted two top-20 finishes on the Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT), including fifth place at the 2010 Notre Dame Open…A Business major.
