2011: Received the Coach’s Award at the end of the year…Played in two games, at Maryland and in a home win over Mercer…Had six saves and allowed just one goal in 36:05 total minutes…Made his collegiate debut against the fourth-ranked Terrapins playing the final 7:59 of the contest picking up two ground balls and allowing just one goal…Started the second half against Mercer and played 28:06 in net stopping six shots.

Prior To Detroit: A three-time All-State, All-Conference and All-Area goalie, Kransberger has started every game in net since arriving at Forest Hills Central, compiling a 36-17 record…He has posted three 200+ saves in his three prep seasons and holds the school record for most saves in a game (22), season (25) and career (701)…He has been a leader on a team that has won three straight regional championships, back-to-back conference titles and a trip to the state finals as a sophomore…Played club lacrosse for the Turtles placing in the Final Four at Battle of the Hotbeds in 2009…Also played for True Lacrosse All-Stars. 

Personal: Son of Kathy and David Kransberger…His great grandfather graduated from Detroit …Has one younger brother… Lists his biggest thrill in sports as playing in the state championship and winning a regional championship…Chose Detroit because of coach Holtz…An Education major.
