2012: Made one appearance on Senior Day against Bellarmine…Won his only faceoff in that contest…A member of the University of Detroit Mercy’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…

2011: Played in one game as he returned to the field after an injury forced him to miss the 2010 season…Attempted two faceoffs in his lone game against Mercer…A Titan SAAC representative and a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2010: Missed the season due to an injury…A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the Academic All-MAAC team…Also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

2009: Was Detroit’s primary faceoff midfielder, playing in all 11 games with 10 starts…Had a record of 84-116 for a .420 percentage…Won UDM’s first-ever faceoff in the opening whistle at Ohio State, ending the game winning 11-of-18 faceoffs…Twice had a season-high 13 faceoff victories against Manhattan and at Presbyterian… Posted a winning faceoff mark in four games, Ohio State, Manhattan (13-10), Presbyterian (13-9) and Wheeling Jesuit (9-8)…Tied for sixth on the squad with 18 ground balls…Had a season best four GB’s against the Presbyterian… A member of the AD Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: A two-year letterwinner in lacrosse, Preston was Hempstead’s top faceoff man winning 75-percent during his high school career…He also found the back of the net 22 times and handed out four assists.

Personal: Son of Valerie Keirstead and Kenneth Preston…Has three siblings…Came to UDM to help start a new program as well as for its academic reputation…An Education major.
