2014: Played in one game getting the start at Robert Morris and finishing with a career-high 18 saves… Also corralled a ground ball… A member of the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. 

2013: Started all three games that he saw action in… Made 11 saves in his first start of the season at Navy… Posted a career-high 14 saves along with three ground balls at Bellarmine… Recorded nine saves and picked up a career-high four ground balls, while causing a turnover, at Marquette… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC’s Academic All-League Team.

2012: Saw action in two games, both against ranked teams…Started the season opener at No.19 Delaware playing 55:08 and stopping 13 shots…He also played 30 minutes at No. 6 North Carolina allowing 10 goals and posting three saves…Caused a turnover in both games and picked up a season-best two ground balls against the Tar Heels.

Prior To Detroit: Earned four letters in lacrosse…Started his prep career at Jesuit High School in Tampa before transferring to Saint Andrews…Led the Scots to a state championship as a junior and a state runner-up finish in as a senior… In 2010, the Scots received a national ranking and were No. 1 in the Southeastern U.S…Named second team All-Palm Beach County and honorable mention All-South Florida as a senior…As a junior, he posted a 58.1 saves percentage earning All-League and second team All-District honors, and was a WFLL All-Star team honorable mention…In 2010, he was selected Goalie of the Session at the Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip camp…He also played club for Team Florida helping the squad to a championship at the Charlotte Fall Classic.

Personal: Son of Melissa and James Kelly…His dad played lacrosse at Manhattan…Has one younger sister… Attended the same high school as Titan teammate Alex Wilson …Lists his biggest thrill in sports as winning a state championship…Chose Detroit because of the coaching staff and the chance to be part of an up and coming program…A Criminal Justice major.
