2017: Appeared in two games on the season… Did not record any stats… A member of the Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…  Earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2016: Saw action in six games… Made his collegiate debut at #11/12 Ohio State… Fired a shot at Mercer… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll as well as the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2015: Did not see any action… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2014: Did not play in his first year as a Titan… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll. 

Prior To Detroit: Lettered in lacrosse and basketball in high school… Selected the Butler County Player of the Year as a senior, where he also served as a team captain… Helped the Butler High School to a Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championship as a freshman… Also guided the Tornados to a state semifinals appearance in 2012…Played one year of club with Pittsburgh Elite Lacrosse… Also helped the basketball team reach the state quarterfinals as a sophomore and semifinals as a junior… A member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Cyndee and Dennis Horwat… Has two older brothers… Chose Detroit because of its great Engineering and lacrosse program… A Civil Engineering major.
