Due to rainy weather conditions, only one round was played at the Wolverine Invitational and the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team finished in a tie for tenth place with Indiana State (321) at the UM Golf Course in Ann Arbor, MI, Sunday afternoon.

Liz Zouzal (Windsor, ON/Holy Names) was Detroit's top finisher as she fired a 78 to tie for 23rd, while Titan freshman Jackie DeMarco (LaSalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) was one stroke behind Zouzal to end in a tie for 33rd.

Michigan won its own Invite with a team score of 293, while Minnesota (304), Eastern Michigan (305), Eastern Illinois (307) and Toledo (316) rounded out the top five schools.

The Titans have a few weeks off and will next return when UDM hosts the Detroit Titans Invitational at the Western Golf and Country Club in Redford, MI, on Oct. 6-7.
