Women's Golf Enters Day Two At Dayton In Second Place

The Titan women's golfers have their eyes on the prize as they enter Tuesday's final round at the Dayton Invitational in second place, five shots behind pace-setting Cincinnati.

Detroit shot 322 to open the tournament on Monday and stands five shots ahead of third-place Bowling Green.
 
Junior Alainna Stefan led the Titans with an opening 78, which puts her in a third-place tie, two shots behind pacesetter Megan Weaver of Ohio. Sophomore Jackie DeMarco is deadlocked for fifth, one shot back.
 
The 10 teams in the field will go back to the course at NCR Country Club at 10:00 Tuesday morning for the final round in the 36-hole event.
