Redbird Invitational Full Results

Led by two Titans who placed in the top 15, the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team claimed seventh place at the Redbird Invitational.

The Titans ended play at the Weibring Golf Club, home to Illinois State, with a three-round total of 954 (316, 322, 316).

Individually, senior Alainna Stefan (Dearborn, MI/Mercy) and freshman Lindsey Lammers (Milan, MI/Milan) led the way sharing 15th place with a 236. Stefan carded a 79 in round three following her 76, 81 she posted on Saturday, while Lammers tallied a 79 on Sunday after her collegiate debut of 79, 78 on the tournament's opening day.

Senior Marni Achterhoff (Muskegon, MI/Mona Shores) finished 25th with a 54-hole 241 (79, 81, 81) total, while sophomore Collette Hansen (West Olive, MI/Grand Haven) showed some great improvement from round one ending with a 77 on the final 18, and 50th overall with a 247 (88, 82, 77).

Detroit will have a week off before facing Oakland in a dual match next Sunday at the Katke-Cousins Golf Course in Rochester Hills.
