BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Titan women's golf team once again had to deal with some weather issues, but they were able to play through that and post another top-five finish earning fourth at Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.

UDM carded a 646 (318, 328) just seven strokes off of third place Ohio. Indianapolis won the event with a 626, while Oakland was second at 636. Detroit knocked in 11 birdied on the weekend – the fourth most in the field – and was also tied for third in Par 3 (3.57) and Par 5 (5.32) average).

Junior Collette Hansen (West Olive, MI/Grand Haven) was once again the top Titan in the clubhouse sharing ninth with a 158 (77, 81).  She had three birdies and a team-high 20 pars in finishing in the top 10 for the fifth-straight event.

Freshman Olivia Richards (Waterford, Ontario/Simcoe Compostie) bounced back from her last two tournaments to card a 160 (77, 83) to tie for 13th, while sophomore Christina Thorne (Kingston, ON/Bayridge) and senior Liz Zouzal (Windsor, ON/Holy Names) tied for 22nd with a 163.

Junior Allison Sears (Clio, MI/Powers) was 37th after posting a 167 (79, 88) and also topped Detroit with four birdied. Junior Danyelle Kauble (Grand Rapids, MI/Forest Hills Central) took five strokes off her first round score to end the final 18 with an 83 and place 47th overall with a 171 (88, 83).

Detroit will not get ready for the Horizon League Championship which is set for April 27-29 at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. UDM was runner-up last season after winning its lone championship in 2012.
