DETROIT (10/9/2013) -- Alums, fans, golfers and wine enthusiast, the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team has a night for you as the Titans host their 3rd Annual Downtown Detroit Wine Tasting on Saturday, Oct. 25.
 
The annual Titan fundraiser is set for 5-7:00 p.m., at Date Group Consulting, which is located downtown at 965 East Jefferson (located at I-375 and Jefferson Avenue or CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS). The location offers a great view of the Detroit Skyline as you mingle with the crowd.
 
You can purchase tickets in advance for $50 or at the door for $60, with all the proceeds going to the Detroit women's golf program.
 
Detroit won its second-straight Horizon League Championship and third in the last five years in 2014. The championship gave the Titans their third berth to the NCAA Regional championship.
 
The Titans have also won 21 tournaments in their history – 14 since the 2011-12 season - with UDM golfers coming away with 22 career medalist honors.
 
Detroit is coached by three-time Horizon League Coach of the Year Terri Anthony-Ryan, a noted golf professional in the Metro Detroit area who currently serves as the head golf pro at the Beechwoods and Evergreen Hills Golf Courses in Southfield.
