TITUSVILLE, Fla. (3/9/2014) -- Chalk up another win for the Titans and senior Lindsey Lammers as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team swept both the team and individual titles at the Titan Tri-Match on Sunday.

Detroit was victorious over Horizon League-rival UIC and Seminole State College of Florida at the Par 71, 5,907-yard Sherwood Golf Club.

"It was a good day and just another chance to get everyone playing," said head coach Terri Anthony-Ryan. "Our team average is a 310 so we were right there and I liked the way everyone played and has improved this week."

UDM tallied a 311 on the day for the program's 19th win in school history, while Seminole State shot a 317 and the Flames recorded a 363.

Lammers won her sixth career event by two strokes with a 2-over 73 as she had a tournament-best three birdies, while knocking in 10 pars. She was also the top performer on the Par 5's with a -2, 4.50 average and was second on the Par 4's at +3, 4.33, and the Par 3's with a +1, 3.20.

Junior Olivia Richards and freshman Sarah Thompson each tied for third with a 78, while senior Christina Thorne was seventh carding an 82. Richards topped the competition with 11 pars and led the event on the Par 3's with a -1, 2.80 average, while Thompson finished with 10 pars and one birdie.

Junior Jessica Mallender was just outside the top 10 taking 11th with an 88 and freshman Brooke Sharpe was right behind her in 12th by a stroke.

Detroit will now get ready for its last spring break tournament as it takes part in the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational, hosted by Seminole State at the Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, Fla., from March 11-12.
