Titans End Fall Campaign At Dayton

KETTERING, Ohio (10/17/2017) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team ended its non-traditional season on Tuesday at the Dayton Flyer Invitational.

The Titans placed 14th overall tallying a 667 (337-330) at the Par 70, 5,826 yard North Course at the NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.

Redshirt freshman Kendall Payne led the team with a 167 (86-81), which included a career-low 81 on the final 18, and tied for 61st.

Junior Erica Heath (84-84) and freshman Shana Murphy (87-81) both posted a season-low 168 to share 65th, while freshmen Alexa Hatz (85-84) and Elle Greenlee shot a 169 (84-85) for 69th. Greenlee also carded a season best for 36 holes and her first-round 84. 

Rounding out the Titans was junior Katelyn Henry, who tied for 79th with a 173 (82-91).

The Titans will now get ready for the 2018 championship spring season.
