BATAVIA, Ohio (9/11/2018) -- Redshirt sophomore
Julia Shaw didn't take long to get back into the swing of things as she tied her season low with a 77 in the final round of the NKU Fall Classic on Tuesday.
Shaw, who missed all of last year with an injury, recorded 12 birdies in the final round – including 10 straight at one point – to post the 77 and finished 50th overall with a 241 (82-82-77)
Sophomore
Shana Murphy tied for 58th with a career-low 246 (78-81-87), while senior
Katelyn Henry shared 65th with a career-tying 249 (87-78-84).
As a team, the Titans claimed 12th totaling a 988 (337-319-332).
Detroit Mercy will be back in action in two weeks when the red, white and blue travel to Rochester for the Golden Grizzly Invitational on Sept. 24-25.Â

- Poponick made her debut for the Titans after missing last year with an injury
