SOUTH BEND, Ind. (12/6/2019) -Â The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team finished its indoor season debut on a high note at Notre Dame's Blue and Gold Invite.

Micah Carey was a winner in her flight in her collegiate long jump debut with a mark of 5.48m, good for fourth overall, while freshmanÂ
Le'Gary Jackson finished top five in the high jump with a height of 1.55m .

Mone Knowles also had a bright showing in her first collegiate 60-meter dash finishing seventh in prelims only to come back and place fourth in the finals.
SeniorÂ
Kyri Jackson competed in several events placing seventh in the 60-meter hurdles, third in the 200-meters, and helping the 4x400-meter relay to a sixth-place finish.
JuniorÂ
Rebecca Measel placed in the top 10 with a time of 5:29 in the mile along with freshmanÂ
Josie Arnold, who also placed in the top 10 with a time of 5:45.
Detroit Mercy will now have more than a month off before competing at Purdue Fort Wayne's Mastodon Invite in January.Â
