BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (4/7/2019) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team concluded the regular season on Sunday as the Titans took eighth at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
Detroit Mercy posted a 644 (320-324) at the Par 72, 5,829-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club and will now get ready for the postseason and the Horizon League Championship.
Sophomore
Alexa Hatz led the team with a 154 (76-78) and was 21st overall. Hatz also topped the team with 24 pars and added two birdies, both in round two and back-to-back on holes 15 and 16.
Redshirt sophomore
Julia Shaw tied for 29th with a 158 (76-82) and led the team with four birdies, three in round one alone.
Sophomore
Kendall Payne shared 45th recording a 163 (83-80), while senior
Katelyn Henry was in 56th with a 169 (85-84).Â
The Horizon League Championship is set for Apr. 21-23 at the Mission Inn Resort's Las Colinas Course in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.Â
