YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (2/1/2020) -- Senior
Kyri Jackson led the way with three top-five efforts and career performances as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team competed in the YSU Mid Major Invite this weekend.
Jackson was runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles clocking an 8.97, third in the long jump with a leap of 5.65 meters and fifth in the 200-meter dash running 25.06, all career bests. Her 200m run set an indoor school record, breaking the indoor mark of 25.07 by Zanita Clipper in 2016.
Freshman
Josie Arnold was third in the 800-meters in 2:21.17, while senior
Brynne Gustafson placed third in the weight with a toss of 16.22m
The Titans will return to action next Sunday when they take part in the Windsor Team Challenge.
