WINDSOR, Ont. (2/10/2020) – Brynne Gustafson recorded two top-10 finishes as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team competed at the Windsor Team Challenge on Sunday.
The senior thrower placed fifth and sixth in the weight throw and shot-put events, respectively, with throws of 15.50 and 11.21 meters. Freshman
Mone Knowles etched her name in the Titan Track and Field record books with a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.88 seconds – a score that puts her ninth all-time in school history.

Micah Carey put on a strong showing in the long and triple jump also logging top-10 finishes for the Titans, with scores of 5.20m and 10.76m.
The women's 4x800 meter relay team also placed fourth with a time of 9:49.69.
The Titans return to action next weekend as they travel to Allendale, Mich. to compete in the two-day Grand Valley State University Big Meet Feb. 14-15.
