DETROIT (2/26/2020) -- The University of Detroit Mercy softball team will get back on a plane and head to the Sunshine State for spring break, but it will be all business for the Titans.
The red, white and blue will play 10 games from Feb. 29-Mar. 8 in Orlando.
Most of the games will be broadcast live on Flo Softball and some will feature a live stats link.

The Titans will open things with Florida International (2-6) and nationally-ranked Kentucky (12-3) on Saturday, Feb. 28, before playing Albany (3-2) and Loyola (7-3) on Sunday.
After a couple of days off, they will battle South Florida (6-7) on Mar. 4, Bethune Cookman (1-14) and North Carolina A&T (2-10) on Mar. 6, Niagara (0-0) and Penn (0-0) on Mar. 7 and nationally-ranked Florida State (7-4) to close out the trip on Mar. 8.
Freshman
Reese Ruhlman has started all 13 games and leads the team in hitting at .280 with two home runs and tying for the team lead with six RBI, while sophomore
Taryn Peru has a team-best three home runs, tied for first in the Horizon League, and six RBI. Sophomore
Taylor Gauthier is hitting .267 and juniors
Ellie Boteler and
Alyssa Lang each have a homer.
