Alexa Hatz shot the best round for the Titans on the weekend and senior
Elle Greenlee led the red, white and blue overall with her career-best effort as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team concluded play at the Bama Beach Bash on Sunday.
Greenlee tallied a career-low 243 (80-82-81) to share 62nd in the event. She tied her career-low with an 80 on the opening 18 and in the final round, she started out with five pars and a birdie, ending with an 81. In the tournament, she led the Titans with four birdies and tied for second on the squad with 27 pars.
Senior
Kendall Payne posted a 245 (79-82-85) to tie for 74th, while Hatz had the best round for the Titans with a 78 on Sunday to tie for 74th with a 246 (79-89-78). Payne also topped the team with 29 pars overall, while Hatz knocked in 27.
Detroit Mercy will be back in action next week, Mar. 29-30, at the NKU Invitational.
