DETROIT (10/2/2022) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team will make the short trek to Ypsilanti as the Titans participate in Eastern Michigan's Shirley Spork Invitational.
The two-day, 54-hole event will be contested on the par 72, 6,175-yard Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
The first two rounds will begin on Monday, Oct. 3, with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m., while Tuesday's final 18 will also go off at 9:00 a.m.

The field will feature the host Eagles, Akron, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Green Bay, Loyola, Ohio, Oakland and Western Michigan.
This is the second-straight year the red, white and blue will play in the tournament as they took seventh last season with a 928 (314-299-315), the second-best score in school history. The Titans were led by
Ariel Chang, who tied for ninth overall with a 225 (76-72-77).
Chang already has two top-five finishes in the fall and leads the team with a 73.00 average. Senior
Sydney Bradford is second on the team with an 81.00, while junior
Sophia Ubaydi is third at 82.75.
