Ariel Chang was in the top 10 as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team ended the fall season by finishing the Chippewa Invitational on Tuesday.
Chang registered an 81 in the final round to share seventh with a 159 (78-81), her eighth career top-10 effort in eight career events. She ended the event with a team-best five birdies - tied for second overall - and was third on the par 4's with a +5, 4.25 average and tied for third on the par 5's with a +1, 5.13 mark.
Senior
Sydney Bradford tied for 41st with a 171 (83-88), while freshman
Taylor Kondel was 47th with a 173 (87-86).
As a team, the red, white and blue placed 10th with a 679 (336-343) at the par 72, 5,994-yard Birmingham Country Club in Birmingham, Michigan.
