Men's Golf Set For One Last Fall Outing

Junior Ryan Sangchompuphen and the Titans will have one final action of the fall.
DETROIT (10/20/2022) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team will have one final turn on the links as the Titans travel to New Jersey for the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship.

The two-day, 36-hole event will start with 18 holes on Monday, Oct. 31, and conclude with the final 18 on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the par-70, 6,503-yard Montclair Golf Club.

There will not be any live scoring of the tournament. 

The Titans will take on host Wagner, Fairleigh Dickinson, Fordham, Manhattan, Monmouth and Saint Peter's.

Detroit Mercy is coming off a third-place finish at the Atomic City Classic two weeks ago.

Junior Alek Mauro leads the team with a 75.00 average, while freshman Vincent Levesque is second on the team with a 77.50 average.

Full results will be posted at the end of each day.
