DETROIT (12/1/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team begins the 2022-23 indoor season with a visit to a familiar place; traveling to South Bend, Indiana Friday, Dec. 2 for the Blue and Gold Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
This will be the 14th time in 15 years that the Titans will begin the indoor schedule by paying a visit to Notre Dame.
Last Year
The 2021 Blue and Gold Invitational saw four returning Titans in the top-10 of the Mile led by
Josie Arnold in third followed by
Evie Wright in sixth,
Kaitlin Murray in seventh, and
Olivia Kochevar in ninth.
Mone Knowles finished top-5 in both the 60-Meter and 200-Meter.
2022 Blue and Gold
Knowles will return to Notre Dame on Friday along with 14 other Titans.
The Titans will join the likes of Valparaiso, Marquette, DePaul, and Northern Illinois among the field of competitors.

Detroit Mercy checks in at No. 8 on the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll after finishing 10th at the Horizon League Indoor Championships in 2021-22.
