PROSPECT, Ky. (3/22/2022) -- Senior Alexa Hatz recorded her 14th career top-20 mark as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team concluded play at the Nevel Meade Collegiate on Tuesday.

The Titans claimed 12th with a 971 (327-325-319) at the par 72, 5,953-yard Nevel Meade Golf Club.

Hatz tied for 19th with a 235 (81-76-78) as she finished the tournament with 10 pars and birdie in her final round. Overall, she led the team with 29 pars and had four birdies. 

Graduate senior Kendall Payne shared 36th with a 238 (79-83-76) as she posted the best round of the day with a 4-over 76, which included five birdies and six pars. She had a run on the back nine with four birdies in five holes and played her last seven holes at 4-under as she topped the team and was tied for eighth in the field with seven birdies. 

Graduate senior Shana Murphy tied for 43rd with a 240 (76-82-82) as she registered nine pars on her final 18. 

The Titans will be right back on the links next week as they compete in NKU's Spring Invite from Mar. 28-29 at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
