HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. (4/25/2022) -- Senior
James Hill still leads the Titans as the University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team is through two rounds of the Horizon League Championship.
Hill is currently tied for 16th with a 149 (74-75) as he posted a 3-over 75 in round two, just five shots out of the top five, which would be All-Tournament.
Hill had 13 pars and then birdied his final hole on the day.
Sophomore
Alek Mauro is tied for 42nd with a 160 (79-81) as he had two birdies and seven pars, while graduate seniors
Drew Tucci (77-90) and
Bryce Douglas (84-83) are tied for 45th with a 167. Tucci registered seven pars and Douglas knocked in nine pars with a birdie.
Sophomore
Ryan Sangchompuphen has totaled a 170 (85-85) for 49th as he had nine pars on the day.
As a team, the Titans are in 10th with a 638 (314-324) at the par 72, 6,868-yard El Campeon course at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.
