Alison Donaugh hit 2-for-4 overall going 1-for-2 in both games as Detroit Mercy dropped a doubleheader, 10-0 and 8-1, at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore

Jordan Hazel each hit 1-for-3 in the nightcap. Freshman
Jenna Holt also went 1-for-2 in the first game.
Game 1 Recap:
• Holt posted Detroit Mercy's (3-20, 2-6 HL) first hit in the lead-off spot to open the game.
• PFW (10-18, 3-2 HL) took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning off an RBI double and hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded.
• The Dons added an RBI and three-run home run to take a 6-0 lead in the second inning.
• PFW posted four more runs off a ground out, RBI single, and a two-run home run to take a commanding lead in the fourth inning to secure a 10-0 win.
Game 2 Recap:
• The Titans got on the board first as Donaugh hit a single moving Fessler to third who later scored off an error in the top of the third inning.
• PFW regained the lead in the bottom half with four runs off an RBI single, wild pitch, stealing home, and a ground-out for a 4-1 advantage.
• The Dons added three more runs with two RBI doubles and an RBI single to lead 8-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning.
• The Titans were unable to get the offense going in the sixth and seventh inning to cut into PFW's seven-run lead.
